The Ministry of Housing & Urban Development is implementing new Healthy Homes Standard regulations aimed at improving the healthiness of rental homes in New Zealand. These new standards start to come into effect as of 1 July 2019 with 1 July 2024 being the date that all rental homes must comply with all Healthy Homes Standards.
